Health and safety is a shared responsibility. Every employee, contractor and visitor is expected to take reasonable care of their own health and safety, as well as that of others, and to actively contribute to maintaining a safe workplace.

This Policy is communicated to all employees, contractors, suppliers and business partners and is publicly available.

• Comply with applicable health and safety legislation, regulations and client requirements.
• Provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment to prevent work-related injuries and ill health.
• Identify workplace hazards, assess risks and implement appropriate control measures to eliminate or reduce risks to an acceptable level.
• Ensure employees are competent through appropriate training, instruction and experience.
• Promote a strong safety culture through communication, consultation and active participation of employees and contractors.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and response procedures for potential incidents and emergencies.
• Encourage reporting of hazards, near misses, unsafe conditions and improvement opportunities without fear of reprisal.
• Continuously improve health and safety performance and management processes.
• Require all personnel to work safely, follow established procedures and use the appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Prohibit the wearing of jewellery where it may create a safety risk during work activities.
